NSU Beta Beta Beta Biological Honor Society Delta Theta chapter inducted 51 students during its annual Induction Ceremony held on March 7, 2017 in the Friedman Student Union. On Friday, March 30, approximately 30 students gathered to celebrate the School’s inaugural Darwin Day. Students had the opportunity to learn about evolution through participating in games and watching a movie about the Theory of Natural Selection and Evolution.

Northwestern State University student volunteer Shannon Jones presented a liquid magnet demonstration for Natchitoches Central High School students Jolie Williams, Tayla Rachal, Courtney Edmonson and Leah DeFord during the NSU Science Showcase, an event hosted by the School of Biological and Physical Sciences Friday. Students from throughout Louisiana participated in workshops in chemistry, biology, physiology, environmental sciences, veterinary technology and physics.
